What is STEM?

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM education helps students to grow their problem-solving skills, allowing them to experience, think about, and understand the world around them. By having students learn about STEM education, they become better prepared to enter the workforce in the future as they now have a different perspective on how to tackle the problems they will face.

Meet the Woz

Hello! My name is Joshua Wozniak and I am a Graduate from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering I have always had a passion for tutoring and have been doing so for the past 5 years.

Some of topics that I tutor (for all ages) include:

To ensure that each student has the best experience possible, every lesson will be a 1-on-1 personalized experience to best fit their learning style.

Lessons can be 1 to 2 hours long and will have a set schedule to them to ensure that the learning process is efficient.

Most lessons will have an overarching theme of “Developing Problem-Solving Skills” to best prepare the student for the future.

  • 1 lesson with the student on any of the available courses. The recommended option for quick test prep in math.

    40$ per lesson.

  • 2 lessons with the student on any of the available courses. The recommended option for exploring possible subjects the student my wish to pursue

    34$ per lesson.

  • 6 lessons with the student on any of the available courses. The recommended option for a short term lesson plan focused on learning all the basics needed to further pursue a subject.

    32$ per lesson.

  • 10 lessons with the student on any of the available courses. The recommended option for a long term lesson plan focused on learning and advancing the necessary skills for the subject in question.

    30$ per lesson.
